“ I came here with a group from work to celebrate some birthdays. It wasn't too busy at 1100, but it picked up very quickly. Service was excellent. Our server, Maria, was friendly and knowledgeable about specials and options for the meals, and the food was delicious and came out reasonably quickly. I had the chile rellenos, and one of my coworkers had the massive chimichanga, which he highly recommends for the next time I visit. I'll be back again! ”

“ Oh man. We were supposed to go to some other restaurant and basically stumbled across this place while in town for the gem show. This is the real gem that we found here in Tucson. I have wanted to try Molcajete for a while. And this place just happen to have it and oh my God. I have never eaten a better Mexican dish in my life. A bubbling cauldron of Mexican spice and meats. It’s a special on right now, but they need to add this to the menu permanently. We also had tamales, enchiladas and desserts. One word: Sopapilla. And get some of their local honey for it. They were all Incredible but the molcajete was next level. The service was great and very friendly. We can be a high maintenance table, but they treated us like family and we tipped them the way they deserved. Absolutely incredible restaurant that I would recommend to anybody in town looking for Mexican. Especially if the other places are too full for you. We enjoyed this meal better than we would’ve had anywhere else because of the genuine surprise. Niza and the manager Noe get the highest of praises. Next time we’re in Tucson we’re definitely coming back and we might come back before we leave. Edit: we came back. Still amazing. Get the queso with chorizo, a mojito and someone else get a prickly pear margarita. Or hey double fist them. I’m not your mom. ”
